First. It's been a while since I blogged...
Happy 15th Birthday my wonderful son Brandon. Brandon, your a great son, a fine student and a good older brother to KC, Patrick and Harrison.
Great, now onto my thoughts and rumblings...well, once again the Montgomery City/County School Board has started down a path with stumbles... we'll have to wait and see what happens with their latest Superintendent choice. Beverly Thompson.
Two leaders ago, Carlinda Purcell was a complete failure. Flawed by her inability to lead, her private "lifestyle choice" hidden from the people for whatever reason. Her costs to the public is still being assessed. Her perks were many. What we recieved in return was bad publicity for a failed system.
Her replacement, John Dilworth was yet another failure. Flawed by his private infidelities he failed to become the leader we so badly needed.
The one thing they all have in common is the members of the school board. Racial bias on both sides only adds to the many problems. Outside influences from those not on the board have been problematic during the last few years.
